Adeline's current mood: Sunbeam Saturday, May 08, 2010 1 year 9 months. Not a long time, not a short time either. For most part of the time in Sunbeam, I hated to be in it. Yet, as everything came to an end, I looked back and realised, this is a place I learnt the most and would definitely miss it, alot. This is a place where there's lots of fun and laughter...(When Boss is not around.) Can you spot where am I? Yes, I'm behind the door, just behind the 2 colleagues of mine. ;) I bet you can't find me in here. I'm the one holding the cat cushion, behind the door too. Try this one. Still behind the door. I didn't like the sunlight so I stayed inside the office while the rest took photos outside. =) Here's 5 of us on a Sunday. We joked, we laughed, we gossiped. I'm known as "Adeline" in the office. From Left: Baolin, Emily, Rose, Adeline, Jennifer On a typical Sunday, our yellow joke goes... Emily: Rose, you made a mistake. I will kill you. Rose: How do you want to kill me? Emily: Kill you with a knife. Jennifer: Use a gun. It's faster. Emily: Ok, pass me a gun. Jennifer: Get a human gun. Rose: From who? Jennifer: Ah Kiang. (Ah Kiang is one of our male fish packers.) Rose: We have a single lady here. Don't mislead her. (Most of the office ladies in the office are married. I was the only single lady around at that moment.) *Adeline smiled, blushing.* Jennifer : Maybe she's an expert already! *Everyone burst out laughing* There we are, having lots of laughter together while working... This is the place we had our fun and laughter... I posted these photos long ago... And this tin of biscuit as baits to catch mice. MOUSEHUNT! I miss the toilet which I "eat snake" in.. I miss all the fish in the farm... Most importantly, I miss everyone... On my last day of work, of the 6 ladies above, only these were left. Yes, 3 left - Baolin, Adeline, Jennifer. Jennifer and Me... Jennifer is the cousin of my boss. Although she is related to the boss, she does not put on any air. On the day I left, her last words were, "Remember to call me out for dinner!" "I will", I said. Those simple words were enough to make me realise how much I'm being missed. Ah Leong, one of the driver even told me dejectedly that day, " I won't have anyone to call me anymore after you left. I paused for a moment at his words. I didn't know how to console him. "You still have your 'cute cute'," was what I said. He smiled & left without saying a word. "Cute cute" is.... my shifu, Baolin! She is indeed a cute girl. When we took this picture, she asked me "Why did you touch my tummy?" I burst out laughing. HAHA! So we tried another shot... And it was perfect! All things will eventually come to an end. I am a little upset, felt a little lost, but I know that this story of mine at Sunbeam will remain a beautiful chapter in the history of my life. *Nothing is forever- happiness and unhappiness alike* Signing Off...
