Adeline's current mood:
Suicide at my block Friday, June 15, 2012 Yesterday, on my way home, as i was about to walk to the lift, my heart sank. A band of police strip surrounded the whole area- the playground, the badminton court, and even my lift area. Someone committed suicide right beside the lift. Not many people was around, just a few police and a few passerby. The police was shifting the covered body away.
I dashed up to my house, and did a head count. I was glad to see my mum who told me it was my neighbour's relative.
My neighbour, who stayed at the same floor as me, was a jovial aunty. Her relative has visited her family from oversea that day.
Despite the fright, I told my mum I am glad to have a kaypo mother like her, because I can hear a lot of news from her. Deep within, I am just glad my family members are all safe and sound. I realise how important my family really is to me.
To the guy who died, whatever your reason is for your behaviour, it must have been a difficult decision, but yes, your suffering is over now. Rest in peace.
