Adeline's current mood:
Malaysia Politics Friday, April 12, 2013 After watching this video, I can finally understand why the chinese in Malaysia are able to tolerate the inequalities in their own country. It is the love for their country, the hope to see their homeland progresses and the aspiration to make it a better place that keep them working hard for their country. Recently, I have been following the Malaysia Election very closely. I was amazed at how capable the politicians in Malaysia are. Anwar, Najib & Mahathir are all very fluent in their English despite being in Malaysia where English is a rarely-used language. Looking at them, it just makes me think that it is impossible how these capable leaders will allow corruptions to rule in the country. Perhaps, the issues plaguing Malaysia have been around for too long to eradicate completely. The issues of security and corruption are genuine. Constant fear of being rob is what I personally experienced in Malaysia. Even the police is not reliable. Looking at the police taking in bribe with my very own eyes, it was an eye opener. Perhaps it is also the issue of 山高皇帝远 that the issues went beyond the control of the government. Looking at the above video, compared to the whiners in Singapore, Malaysians are so much more politically sensible online. Of course, there are still some "creative" Malaysians around. Failed Najib's wife Rosmah part 3- Sing CNY song like funeral song I chuckled at the title that Rosmah "Sing CNY song like funeral song". However, I personally like the effort Rosmah put in to sing the CNY chinese song. She can sing in Malay. She has her right but she did not. I hope this election will turn out well. Signing Off...
