Adeline's current mood:
Life, Love, Dilemma. Thursday, December 12, 2013 Mr Ng came home from work one day. He took his shower and had his sumptuous meal cooked by his loving wife. After dinner, Mr Ng sat on the sofa to watch TV while Mrs Ng washed the dishes. Every day, without fail, Mrs Ng served her husband and satisfied his every need. Mrs Ng complained "I have to cook for the family, wash clothes, mop floor and many other housework. I am so busy." 40 years passed. Mr Ng's health gradually deteriorated. One day, he passed away. Mrs Ng could not accept the loss of her husband. She was devastated. On a brighter note, she no longer need to do any cooking or housework. Life should be more relaxing. Yet, the companion, who would listen to her nagging and who stayed by her side despite all the quarrels and fights, is gone. Life became meaningless. In a year, she suffered from dementia. Life and love is a big dilemma. Everyday, we complain about the sacrifice we have to take for our love ones. Yet, when they are gone, we begin to feel the loss. The above story is a good reminder for all of us to treasure our love ones. They are the one who will stood by us in adverse time. We may be more carefree without them as a burden, but they are the one who gives our lives a meaning. Signing Off... The Girl Who No Longer Believes In "Forever" 11:29 PM 0 comments |
